Application
DynaMesh-IPOM mesh implants were specially developed for the IntraPeritoneale Onlay Mesh - Technique in laparoscopic and open hernia surgery.The cut-to-measure implant is placed and fixed intraperitoneal, with the PP side being deployed parietally and the PVDF side viscerally. The incorporated reference and fixation thread shows the correct position (Phase 1).
The unique open-pore monofilament 2-component structure ensures complete mesh incorporation and a fast and unimpeded development of the endogenous neo-peritoneum. Occuring seroma can run off through the mesh easily (Phase 2).
